Stephen was raised in Minnesota. He attended Winona State University the oldest educational training institution West of the Mississippi and graduated in 1970. In 1972 he graduated from Mankato State University, also in Minnesota, with a Master's degree in Urban Economics. He moved to Spokane in 1973 and worked with the City of Spokane during Expo 74.

Through the late 70's he sold real estate and in 1983 began his career in the mortgage business. In 1997 he started working with Jack Tenold originating mortgage loans.

Stephen is licensed in the state of Washington and specializes in conventional mortgage financing and reverse mortgages. He generates tremendous referral and repeat business because he takes care of his clients and they take care of him.

First Priority Financial is a member of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association and the Better Business Bureau.
